U14 Glen Eira Phoenix Vs Lilydale Eagles - Saturday 12 May 2007 at
Lords Reserve
In a interesting match, the Phoenix gained a 4-1 win to give coach John Riccioni a 2nd win. The team also welcomed 5 new players Paul and George M, Nectarios, Alex and George P, who just started playing last week with the team. The Phoenix finished the first half 2 goals ahead. Chris was excellent as goalie and Paul scoring the 2 goals. The second half had the Eagles scoring their 1 goal and the Phoenix scoring another 2. Liam and Thomasin worked extremely hard in defence, keeping the team together. Due to a red card during the first half, the Phoenix played on with only 10 players for the majority of the match.
